I Dream of Lilac Time

Finally, after three years of hoping for lilac's to bloom, we got our wish.

I planted these lilac bushes four years ago thinking they would be full of blooms the next year. Year after year we waited and hoped but no lilacs. I made the decision last spring to cut them back hard hoping they would be forced to bloom...and...

BLOOMS! Yummy, sweet, beautiful blooms.

I'm so happy. I cut flowers for all the bedrooms and put them in little vases.

Ms. A thinks they smell like worm toots. Hmmm, go figure.
